Supreme Court Rules, 2024

These Rules govern the practice and procedure of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in both its original and appellate jurisdictions. They revoke and replace the Supreme Court Rules, 1985. The Rules cover a comprehensive range of matters including administration, service of processes, applications, fees, records of appeal, civil and criminal appeals, fast track criminal appeals, election matters, briefs of argument, electronic filing, virtual hearings, electronic case scheduling and management, judgment delivery, vacation, and miscellaneous provisions.
