Section 16 — Expenditure of the Council

The Council shall apply the proceeds of the Council Fund established under section 15 (1) of this Act with the approval of the National Assembly to—

(a) cost of administration of the Council;

(b) payment of fees, remuneration, bills, rent;

(c) cost of maintenance of any property acquired or vested in the Council;

(d) capital expenditure relevant to the Council; and

(e) undertake such other expenses and activities as are connected with all or any of the functions of the Council under this Act.
